Agama Kristen termasuk salah satu dari agama Abrahamik yang berdasarkan hidup, ajaran, kematian dengan penyaliban, kebangkitan, dan kenaikan Yesus dari Nazaret ke surga, sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam Perjanjian Baru, umat Kristen meyakini bahwa Yesus adalah Mesias yang dinubuatkan dalam dari Perjanjian Lama (atau Kitab suci Yahudi). Kekristenan adalah monoteisme, yang percaya akan tiga pribadi (secara teknis dalam bahasa Yunani hypostasis) Tuhan atau Tritunggal. Tritunggal dipertegas pertama kali pada Konsili Nicea Pertama (325) yang dihimpun oleh Kaisar Romawi Konstantin I.
Pemeluk agama Kristen mengimani bahwa Yesus Kristus adalah Tuhan dan Juru Selamat, dan memegang ajaran yang disampaikan Yesus Kristus. Dalam kepercayaan Kristen, Yesus Kristus adalah pendiri jemaat (gereja) dan kepemimpinan gereja yang abadi (Injil Matius 16: 18-19)
Umat Kristen juga percaya bahwa Yesus Kristus akan datang pada kedua kalinya sebagai Raja dan Hakim akan dunia ini. Sebagaimana agama Yahudi, mereka menjunjung ajaran moral yang tertulis dalam Sepuluh Perintah Tuhan.
Kata Kristen sendiri memiliki arti "pengikut Kristus atau "pengikut Yesus". Murid-murid Yesus Kristus untuk pertama kalinya disebut Kristen ketika mereka berkumpul di Antiokia (Kisah Para Rasul 11: 26c).

Seorang wanita tua naik lift di Gedung Kantor yang sangat mewah. Seorang wanita muda dan cantik masuk ke dalam lift dan berbau wangi lalu menoleh kepada wanita tua dan berkata angkuh, "Giorgio - Beverly Hills, $100 per ounce"

Wanita muda dan cantik berikutnya naik di lift dan juga sangat arogan menatap menjadi wanita tua itu dan berkata, "Chanel No 5, $150 per ounce!"

Sekitar tiga lantai kemudian, wanita tua itu telah mencapai tujuannya dan akan turun lift. Sebelum dia pergi, dia melihat kedua wanita cantik itu, tersenyum, lalu membungkuk, dan mengeluarkan sebuah kentut yang berbau paling busuk.

Dia meninggalkan kedua wanita itu di dalam lift, sambil mengatakan "Brokoli, 50sen sekilo!"

Bu Fanny : Anto, ada 5 bebek yang lagi mencari makan disawah. Kalo ditembak pemburu,
kena satu yang tinggal berapa ?
Setelah berpikir sejenak, si Anto menjawab “Ga ada sisanya bu ”
Bu Fanny bertanya “kenapa ga ada sisanya ?”
Si Anto menjawab” yang lain terbang semua karena kaget”
Bu Fanny tersenyum bijak dan berkata “yah, sebetulnya bukan itu jawabannya. tapi saya suka cara
berpikir kamu ”

Si Anto tidak mau kalah ” boleh saya yang tanya bu guru ?”
Bu Fanny ” boleh”
Si Anto ” ada tiga wanita makan eskrim, satu makanya dikunyah2, yang satu digigit2 dan yg terakhir dijilat2. pertanyaannya wanita mana yang sudah menikah ?”
Tanpa berpikir panjang Bu Fanny menjawab ” sudah pasti yang menjilat2 eskrimnya”
Si Anto senyum2 dan berkata ” sebetulnya yang sudah menikah yang menggunakan cincin kawin bu……. tapi saya suka cara berpikir ibu “
